neodisher® MediKlar
Rinse aid for the automated reprocessing of thermostable and thermolabile instruments liquid concentrate.
Main fields of application:
Rinsing of medical devices such as surgical instruments incl. ophthalmological instruments, anaesthesia equipment, sterilisation containers, flexible endoscopes and implants as well as baby bottles in washer disinfectors.
Characteristics:
neodisher MediKlar is a rinse aid especially developed for the above-mentioned fields of application and has the following properties:
Excellent wetting properties – for quick and streak-free drying of the items to be washed
Considerably shorter drying time
Thus reducing the time and energy requirements of the cleaning process in washer disinfectors.
Sterile packaging of paper / foil will not be negatively influenced by medical devices which are processed with neodisher MediKlar.
Accessories for anesthesia utensils made of polysulphone (PSU) and of polyphenylene sulphone (PPSU) such as connectors for larynx masks, valves, adaptors and parts of instrument container covers might form production-related stress cracks if coming into contact with rinse aids. These parts must be tested first for suitability
Application and dosage:
neodisher MediKlar is used in the final rinse step in washer disinfectors. The dosing amount also depends on the items to be washed and the water quality and is 0.3 – 1.0 ml/l. neodisher MediKlar is dosed into the final rinse water. Suitable dosing equipment is to be used. To avoid water stains the use of deionised water in the final rinse step is recommended. At the same time this protects anodized aluminium. Do not mix with other products.
Rinse out dosing system including suction hose with water before changing product.
Reprocessing should comply with all ordinances pursuant to the Medical Device Directive and should be performed with appropriate validated processes. Please observe the instrument manufacturer´s recommendations for use according to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 17664. The instructions given by the manufacturer of the washer disinfector are to be observed. For professional use only!

Ingredients:
Ingredients according to Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents:
< 5 % anionic surfactants, polycarboxylates 5 – 15 % non-ionic surfactants also preservation agents (quaternium 15, methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone)

neodisher MediKlar conforms to the European directive 93/42/EEC, Annex I, concerning medical devices.
Toxicology:
neodisher MediKlar does not cause any adverse health effects if used as recommended (safety assessment according to EN ISO 10993-1). A toxicological summary is available on request.
Storage informations:
Always store at a temperature between 0 and 30 °C. Usable for 2 years when stored as recommended. Expiry date: refer to the stamp mark on the label after the hourglass symbol.
